She was once named the world’s sexiest woman and was famed for her sultry magazine covers and sex symbol movie roles.

Yet Caprice has now undergone a wholesome rebrand, giving Mariah Carey a run for her money as the new ‘Queen Of Christmas‘.

The supermodel and film producer, 54, has just released A Scottish Christmas Secret on Channel 5, her third festive film, after launching her own production company, JJLove Productions Ltd.

Speaking to Daily Mail at her home in West London, the mother-of-two explained that she decided to take control of her own fate after being ‘stereotyped’ by casting agents.

‘It was always the “babe” roles, but I was getting older, and I’m a mum now, I don’t want to be “the babe” anymore.

‘I still do shoots like Loaded every now and again, and that can be fun. With my movies and producing, I want my kids to be proud of the way I work.’

The former reality star – who famously appeared on shows such as The Surreal Life and Ladies Of London – added: ‘We all know I’ve done so many toxic TV shows and I’m just done with it. This now is the ultimate. This is happiness.’

With her heart set on making her own way in the film industry, Caprice turned to prayer, asking God for guidance on how to approach filmmaking.

It was then that she met a producer on the set of a movie who agreed to work with her on a new project before Caprice had the knowledge to set out on her own.

‘I’ve just been learning as I go and now I’m like a machine,’ she mused. ‘I do everything myself. I book plane tickets myself, I do scheduling myself, I do pre-production, all the locations, all the hotel bookings.

‘It’s stressful but in a good way because I love being creative and I love my scripts. They’re happy, they’re about love and romance, and I’m a hopeless romantic at heart.’

Caprice’s latest film, A Scottish Christmas Secret, sees her star as Tiffany Bennett, a publisher who goes undercover on a journey to Scotland to convince a top author Nathan (Alex Trumble) to finish his series.

The movie also stars Caprice’s longtime friend Patsy Kensit, with the pair filming their scenes at Caprice’s home – notable because the famous swing in her living room appears.

‘We had so much fun,’ Caprice shared. ‘It’s just so natural and the chemistry between the two of us – we were just laughing.’

Caprice also enlisted her sons in the movie after the pair expressed an interest in acting.

‘It was chaos!’ Caprice joked. ‘But I was so proud of my sons.’

She revealed they were able to pick up on their lines straight away without rehearsals but was left revealed when they decided that they didn’t want to pursue a career in the industry.

‘I’m very happy with that,’ she explained. ‘I think for both of my boys, it’s better to be private than to be this exposed.

‘I mean, now I’m as hard as nails, so it doesn’t really impact me the way it used to when I was younger but I think it’s better to be kind of on the DL [down low] rather than be in the public eye.

‘It’s a roller coaster. One minute you’re hot, the next minute you’re chopped liver!’

Now Caprice is throwing herself into work for her next movie – another Christmas film.

‘I’m the queen of Christmas!’ Caprice reasoned. ‘I love Christmas! This script is one of my favorites.

‘We start shooting January 23 here in England, we’re doing it in the Cotswolds, London and Birmingham.’

The upcoming festive film will also star dancer Abbie Quinnen, who Caprice described as a ‘great actress and gorgeous inside and out’ in her feature film role.

Over the years, Caprice has proved to be a master of many trades, from modelling to reality TV work to launching her own lingerie company.

Yet she revealed that now she’d found her favourite role.

‘The number one most important thing that that I’m proud of is obviously being a mum,’ she began. ‘Then after that it’s producing and starring in my own movies.

‘And not only doing that, but doing it successfully. I mean, it’s a flex to be fair! I’ve been really, really blessed and I’m so thankful to God for that.

‘I’m 54 years old and I’ve got an amazing husband, an amazing marriage. I’ve got my kids more than anything and everyone is healthy.

‘Now I’m doing the thing that I love to do more than anything – I’m in my fifties playing the leading girl and producing.

‘So if anything, don’t be set back because you think you can’t do something because of your gender or because of your age.’
