Jules Neale has dropped a major hint about her next move amid the end of her marriage to AFL star Lachie Neale.
On Tuesday evening, the 35-year-old shared an image on Instagram Stories of Busselton Jetty, in Perth, alongside a bandaged heart emoji.
The post appeared to imply the Western Australian-born WAG has headed home to be close to family at Christmas as she works to heal her broken heart.
Jules has been based in Brisbane, where she has lived with South Australian Lachie since 2019.
Movers were reportedly seen outside the former couple’s home in the Brisbane suburb of Seven Hills last week.
The signs suggest that the couple, who share two children – four-year-old daughter Piper and one-year-old son Freddie – may have reached a point of no return.

It comes as photos have emerged of the final holiday Jules and Lachie Neale enjoyed with their former friend Tess Crosley and her husband Ben before Jules and Tess had a very public falling out.
On Monday, Jules launched a remarkable public attack on Tess, demanding she remove Instagram photos of the Brisbane Lions’ recent grand final celebrations.
‘Take these down, you idiot, you’re embarrassing yourself,’ Jules wrote under photos showing Tess, a former Mormon missionary, with the star footballer.
The message has since been deleted and the onetime former mates no longer follow each other on social media.
Jules revealed the breakdown of her marriage on Friday – denying news reports she was ‘working through’ issues with Neale to instead allege that she had been ‘betrayed in the most unimaginable way’. She did not specify what that entailed.
What is clear is that the pair’s relationship was not always so sour – with photos showing them spending time together still visible on her public social media pages earlier in the week.
That included a carousel of photos of Tess, Jules and their respective partners and children enjoying a coastal getaway in November.
The group looked to be having a great time in each other’s company, with one photo showing the former friends, clad in bikinis and posing on the sand.

There was also a photo of Tess and Lachie spending time in the backyard of their holiday rental property.
Meanwhile, a video uploaded to Tess’ TikTok in June, shows her, her husband Ben, Lachie and Jules taking part in a TikTok trend.
The clip shows the foursome performing the ‘hope our husbands like each other’ skit.
Jules is seen miming the phrase: ‘I hope our husbands get along’, before Tess jumps in with: ‘me too’.
The camera then cuts to a shot of Lachie and Ben with their arms interlocked drinking a cocktail.
The clip was captioned: ‘Four best friends’.
The explosive post came after media reports suggested the high-profile couple were attempting to repair their marriage behind the scenes.
‘I want to make it very clear that I am not “working through” anything,’ Jules wrote.
‘I have been betrayed in the most unimaginable way.
‘All I can do now is to heal and do what’s best for my children,’ she continued.

Within hours of posting the statement, Jules deleted every photo of Lachie from her Instagram account, erasing more than a decade of memories, while a moving truck was spotted parked in the driveway of the couple’s Brisbane home.
Jules also lashed out at Tess, demanding she remove photos from the Brisbane Lions’ grand final celebrations from her social media.
The post in question featured multiple images from grand final day and the celebrations following Brisbane’s back–to–back premiership win, with several photos showing Jules and Lachie on the field and inside the sheds celebrating with friends.
The now–deleted comment, which was captured in screenshots, shows Jules writing: ‘Take these down, you idiot, you’re embarrassing yourself.’
Tess has also switched off comments on the post after members of the public flooded the account.
There is no suggestion of any wrongdoing by Tess.
Neither party has made any public comment on the situation.
