It took me a year of denial, but I finally got sucked into the vibration plate trend.

My TikTok feed quickly became a lineup of smiling grown-ups wobbling on these slim rectangular boards. And that wasn’t the craziest part – they were loving it. Many said that it helped with lymphatic drainage, improved their muscle tone and some even reported it helped them lose weight.

When I began looking deeper into the research behind the benefits of vibration plates, I found a 2021 study that revealed whole-body vibration training could improve muscle strength and performance, and that it was considered a safe alternative to other exercises and could help boost the effects of workouts.

So I got a $179 Lifepro Waver Vibration Plate Exercise Machine, and I love it. No complaints there. Since I started shaking for about 10 minutes a day, I’ve felt much more energized in the mornings and noticed less inflammation. My mother, who has sciatica, also says it’s reduced her back pain measurably.

Here’s the catch: You don’t have to drop almost $200 on a vibration plate when there’s a $99 model out there. This sale on Amazon is not to miss. I rarely see vibration plates offered for under $100, let alone ones with glowing customer reviews.

The AXV Vibration Plate creates a whole-body vibration that is designed to stimulate the muscles, causing extra contraction and increased activation.

According to the brand, it’s a great choice for seniors and people who can’t do higher-impact workouts, as it can still help burn calories and body fat. Many users also report that their vibration plates have helped with joint pain and recovery.

“It makes it easy to customize workouts, whether I want something gentle for recovery or more intense for muscle activation,” one user shared. “Even short sessions leave my legs and core feeling engaged, and it’s been great for improving circulation and loosening up after a long day.”

AXV’s model offers an adjustable vibration speed from one to 120, and comes with two resistance workout bands for upper and lower body workouts. It’s compact, easy to stow away and comes with a remote control and LED screen that track your time, speed and fat burn.
