Woman found dead in VictoriaMan arrested nearby shortly after
A woman has been found dead and a man arrested following a callout to a house.
Police discovered the body at a property on Mountain Highway in Bayswater, in Melbourne‘s east, just after 11am on Monday.
A 39-year-old man was arrested nearby at 11.40am.
He is expected to be interviewed this afternoon.
The man and woman are understood to have known each other.
Victoria Police have set up a crime scene.
