Dakota Johnson has officially mastered the art of summer wedding-guest dressing. Stepping out for what was arguably the biggest celebration of the year—no, we’re not talking about America’s 250th anniversary—the actor and longtime friend of the bride picked out a sheer black dress for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s nuptials.
The piece was designed with a halter neckline and billowing, lightweight, see-through top, layered over a strapless opaque dress in the same hue. The midi-length skirt featured a thigh-high slit for a touch of added drama, and altogether the choice felt like a natural one for the Madame Web lead—who has long championed the naked dress trend at film premieres, dinner dates, and after-parties alike.

Giving her go-to style a romantic wedding-day spin, Johnson paired the ensemble with peep-toe heels with shiny black bows. On her shoulder, she carried a black quilted leather bag from Valentino, finished with studs and a short double chain in silver.
For jewelry, she selected little dangly earrings, a thin bracelet, and a whole bunch of rings. She finished things off with a pair of oval sunglasses and let her long brown hair down for the occasion, her bangs blowing in the wind.
