Jules Neale has launched a very public attack on a former friend, just days after she dropped a bombshell statement about the collapse of her marriage to Brisbane Lions captain Lachie Neale.

The hairstylist, 35, sent social media into meltdown on Friday when she shut down reports she was quietly ‘working through’ private issues with her AFL superstar husband.

Instead she revealed that she had been ‘betrayed in the most unimaginable way’.

The explosive post came after media reports suggested the high-profile couple were attempting to repair their marriage behind the scenes.

‘I want to make it very clear that I am not ‘working through’ anything,’ Jules wrote.

‘I have been betrayed in the most unimaginable way.

‘All I can do now is to heal and do what’s best for my children,’ she continued.

Within hours of posting the statement, Jules deleted every photo of Lachie from her Instagram account, erasing more than a decade of memories, while a moving truck was spotted parked in the driveway of the couple’s Brisbane home.

As the fallout continued to unfold, Jules also lashed out at Tess Crosley, one of her closest friends, demanding she remove photos from the Brisbane Lions’ recent grand final celebrations from her social media.

The post in question featured multiple images from grand final day and the celebrations that followed Brisbane’s back-to-back premiership win, with several photos showing Jules and Lachie on the field and inside the sheds celebrating with friends.

The images were shared before Jules’ bombshell statement about the breakdown of her marriage and showed the group in high spirits, smiling and embracing as they soaked up the historic win.

As of Monday, the images and accompanying TikTok videos were still visible on her friend’s social media accounts.

Jules and Tess’ friendship appears to have completely collapsed, with the pair no longer following each other on Instagram.

Tess has also switched off comments on the post after members of the public flooded the account.

There is no suggestion of any wrongdoing by Tess.

Neither party has made any public comment on the situation.

Jules and Lachie share two children, four-year-old daughter Piper and son Freddie, who was born in December 2024.

This week, Jules marked Freddie’s first birthday by sharing a series of emotional photos dedicated solely to her children. Lachie did not appear in any of the images and was not mentioned in the caption.

‘Turning 1 today. This little man, and his beautiful big sister, have taught me what real love, courage, and joy look like,’ Jules wrote.

‘You’re the sweetest soul, Freddie bear. Thank you for choosing me, for holding me up without even knowing it. I’m so lucky to be your mumma and I love you beyond words.’

The post marked a stark contrast to comments Jules made earlier this year, when she described her marriage as ‘solid’ and said she and Lachie were united despite the pressures of life in the public eye.

The couple had also presented a united front at high-profile events in recent months, including the Brownlow Medal ceremony in September and the Brisbane Lions’ Club Champion awards night in October, where they posed arm-in-arm for photographs.

Jules has become a popular figure among Brisbane Lions fans and has amassed a following of more than 27,000 on Instagram as a lifestyle influencer, hairstylist and regular Brownlow red carpet presence.

The relationship has previously been subjected to intense public scrutiny.

In 2021, Jules was unfairly targeted by social media users amid speculation Lachie was considering a move back to Western Australia.

At the time, Lachie publicly defended his wife, revealing she had received vile messages from strangers and that their characters had been unfairly questioned.
