Reports have flooded in of an outage on the Commonwealth Bank app.
Commbank app users began reporting issues with their apps on Wednesday afternoon.
‘This is an intermittent issue impacting some customers,’ a spokeswoman told Daily Mail.Â
‘Some people can successfully login once they exit the app and try logging in again. We’re working to fix this.’
Several frustrated customers aired their grief online.
Many reported being unable to check their account balances or make payments.
‘My son is stuck with no food and no phone credit cause I can’t even transfer him $30,’ one wrote.
‘I’m in South Africa and need to get my card working desperately,’ another said.

Commonwealth Bank said the issue was resolved shortly before 5pm.Â
The cause of the outage is being investigated.
