Big Brother fans have reacted to housemates “gunning for” Caroline in the latest task, as they had to team up with the contestants they were most “in sync” with. The ‘three-of-a-kind’ task saw housemates enter a fruit machine, answering revealing questions to see how in sync they were, including “Who’s the most selfish?”, “Who’s the most two-faced?”, “Who’ll be missed the least?” and “Who’s the most devious?”.

Cameron, Jenny and Zelah made up the first team, followed by Caroline, Nancy and Sam, while Marcus, Richard and Tate combined as the last trio. As there were an odd number of housemates, Farida volunteered to sit the task out. Correct answers in the task won the teams 10 eyeballs, with the stakes higher than ever.

The EyeDeal mini mart was open for business, with exciting new items on sale, including a much-desired phone call home (with only one available), as well as a ‘game-changing’ Save and Replace power.

Fans online particularly enjoyed the response from the housemates towards Caroline, with one saying on X: “Not the housemates absolutely ending Caroline!! Zelah’s comment on her grudge holding was especially true!”. Another commented: “I’m surprised Caroline didn’t demand 5 eye balls each for being the answer to the questions!”

A third viewer enjoyed the housemates’ choices, saying: “LOLL THEM ALL GUNNING FOR CAROLINE actually a good episode for a change,” while another hoped Richard won more balls during the task: “Let Richard get the gamechanger and put Caroline up for eviction!,” they said.

Elsewhere in the episode, housemates had the hot water and hair appliances switched off, and the hot tub was made out of bounds, following Nancy and Caroline talking about nominations in Friday night’s episode.

Elsa also revealed more about her claims to be able to see ‘demons and dead people’, telling Emily she’d seen “quite a few people” in the Big Brother house, including “two demons and one spirit”. She assured the group the spirits weren’t there to scare housemates, but Jenny upset Elsa by appearing shocked at the latter’s revelations and saying she should seek professional support.

Big Brother airs on ITV2 and ITVX from Sundays through Fridays, followed each night by Big Brother: Late & Live.
