The Masked Singer UK has confirmed its “amazing” line-up for the 2025 Christmas special. After sharing a glimpse at this year’s festive disguises, fans reacted and said that they “can’t wait” for the special episode.
Set to air on Boxing Day, the festive-themed instalment will see a host of famous people perform in disguises for judges Jonathan Ross, Maya Jama, Davina McCall and Mo Gilligan.
The long-running show, which is hosted by Joel Dommett, has now confirmed its Christmas character line-up, which includes a number of merry masks.
First on the list is a character called Mistletoe. Sporting giant red lips and candy cane striped tights, the disguise also includes some mistletoe, naturally.
Next up is Figgy Pudding, who looks just like a giant Christmas dish with added glitter. They are followed by Santa’s Sack, a character with a large red velvet sack for a body and a present for a head.

After that is Goose A-Laying, a large Goose character in a dress from ‘The Twelve Days of Christmas’ song.
There to give the judges and viewers a hint at who is behind each of the masks, a host of icons from the world of panto will arrive to share some clues about the hidden celebrities.
Christopher Biggins is on board as the dame, with Su Pollard set to appear as a Fairy Godmother. Lesley Joseph is the Wicked Stepmother, while Basil Brush will make an appearance as Prince Charming.
Reacting to the character reveal on Instagram, fans shared their thoughts on the upcoming episode, with one fan writing: “Can’t wait for this. The new series looks brilliant.”

One person said: “Oh my!! Those are the coolest Christmas costumes ever!!!!!!!” Another added: “OMG can’t wait. I sooo look forward to Masked Singer.”
“Omg they are amazing,” wrote one fan of the show, with another commenter saying they were looking forward to Boxing Day, calling the “funny and amazing” show their “favourite”.
Following the Christmas special, which airs on Boxing Day at 7.30pm on ITV1, a new season of The Masked Singer UK will start 3 January 2026.
