Emmerdale spoilers follow.
Emmerdale finally resolved a big mystery tonight as Graham Foster revealed his connection to Coronation Street‘s Jodie Ramsey. The pair were first seen together in the Corriedale crossover, during which Jodie was tied up in the back of Graham’s van.
Following the episode, Graham – who was presumed dead – returned to the Dales, while newcomer Jodie reunited with her sister Shona Platt in Weatherfield. Jodie claimed she was running away from an abusive ex-boyfriend at the time of the crash, but it turns out she was actually involved with a dangerous gang.

The mystery was uncovered in tonight’s episode of Emmerdale, when vet Rhona Goskirk attended a call-out at Home Farm. Rhona arrived at the stables looking for Kim Tate’s horse Freya, but instead found a bloodied Graham unconscious on the hay.
As she ran to check his pulse, Graham awoke and frantically asked if his attackers had gone. He told Rhona she shouldn’t be there and refused to involve the police or go to a hospital.
Rhona continued to press her ex for answers and he finally admitted that his attack was “punishment” from a gang who had instructed him to “get rid of” Jodie. He explained that he had released her from captivity during the crash and had been hiding from them ever since.
“You remember that problem I was hired to get rid of? I told you when I first saw you,” he said. “That problem was named Jodie. This is my punishment for letting her escape then terminating my contract.”
Rhona was horrified to learn that the gang had located Graham after he recently helped her find Dylan Penders. She insisted on stitching up his wounds, as he had “almost died today because of [her]”.

Meanwhile, Marlon Dingle grew impatient waiting for Rhona, who had promised to join him for lunch to have a talk. As he headed over to Home Farm, he saw his wife sharing an intimate moment with Graham.
Marlon helplessly watched as the pair almost kissed, but he stormed away before he could hear Rhona shut down Graham’s advances. When Rhona returned home, heartbroken Marlon made an excuse and cancelled their plans.
Will his actions push Rhona and Graham closer together? And will Corrie’s Jodie ever reveal the reason for her capture?
