EastEnders spoilers follow.

Bea Pollard is set to have her own romantic moment with Ian Beale in upcoming scenes on EastEnders, though it will come as her scheme to take advantage of Honey and Billy Mitchell continues.

After the pair took a shine to each other earlier this week, he suggested that they go on a date. In a new development, Bea seeks advice from the women of Albert Square and finally agrees to go out with Ian, who’s running for Walford councillor against Elaine Peacock.

While Ian is busy with local politics, he has no clue that his new love interest is carrying out a secret fraud scheme under the nose of Honey and Billy, who are kindly hosting her while she finds her own place.

The couple are blissfully unaware that Bea has taken out a credit card in Honey’s name and is using it freely, and upcoming scenes on the BBC soap will see Bea become increasingly jealous of the pair as they go on a date.

She then decides to copy Honey and buys the exact same dress for her dinner with Ian. To top it all off, as Honey and Billy are trying to spend some quality time together at Knight Fusion, Bea insists that she and Ian join them for the meal.

Unexpectedly, Bea pays for the entire dinner. While this seems like a nice gesture to Honey and Billy, they are unaware that Bea is using her fraudulent credit card in Honey’s name to foot the bill.

Ian is equally in the dark about Bea’s duplicitous nature as the pair bond during their date. The evening goes well and the two of them seal it with a kiss, but will Bea’s deceit come to light? Or will she be able to cover her tracks with Honey and Billy?

As the scheming Bea previously secretly recorded Billy’s voice so she could set up a voice generator, we have a feeling that she might have another crime lined up in addition to credit card fraud.

EastEnders airs on Mondays-Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer, where most episodes drop early at 6am ahead of their TV broadcast.
