Coronation Street fans have more choice than ever when it comes to watching the latest cobbles drama – and a growing audience are now tuning in via YouTube.
Every weekday morning at 7am, the latest Corrie episode drops on YouTube alongside ITVX. With fewer ads on YouTube, it’s becoming an increasingly popular option to catch up with our favourite characters.
Just for fun, we decided to take a look at which episodes have brought in the most views via the service since the start of the year.

Unsurprisingly, there was a major spike for the historic Corriedale crossover episode at the start of the year, which brought in fans of both Coronation Street and Emmerdale.
Todd Grimshaw’s dark storyline with his abusive husband Theo Silverton has also gripped viewers, with some of the most-watched episodes airing just this week.

Maggie Driscoll was reported to the police amid a violent showdown with Megan Walsh. Meanwhile, Theo discovered Todd’s escape bag at the flat.
Bernie Winter-Alahan went to Mal Roper’s hotel room after he attempted to blackmail her into sex. Elsewhere, George Shuttleworth was horrified when he overheard Theo being abusive towards Todd.
Maggie made Ben Driscoll suspicious with a comment about his father Alan not being his “flesh and blood”. Meanwhile, George Shuttleworth waited to hear his fate in court amid the fraud allegations.

Sarah Platt searched for evidence in Theo’s van to support Todd’s case, but her efforts backfired. At the same time, Carl Webster told his mum Debbie that he had secret information about Billy Mayhew’s death.
Daniel Osbourne demanded answers from Megan Walsh amid the grooming allegations against her. Elsewhere, Theo spiked Todd’s drink at the Bistro ahead of the marathon.
In the aftermath of Corriedale, the Street’s residents mourned Billy and started to seek answers over who was to blame for the multi-car crash.

Gary Windass became the latest resident to uncover Theo’s true colours, sparking a row between them. At the same time, Mal called at No.7 and dropped a bombshell on Dev.
Todd made a desperate bid to escape from Theo, who caught him trying to leave. Sarah was horrified when a badly-beaten Todd turned up outside her flat, begging for help.

In a special episode, Todd reported Theo to the police, telling Lisa Swain and Kit Green about the abuse in an emotional interview.
The worlds of Coronation Street and Emmerdale collided, causing a multi-car crash that left lives hanging in the balance.
