Coronation Street spoilers follow from Wednesday’s episode (8 July), which is available to watch now on ITVX and YouTube but hasn’t aired on ITV1 yet.

In tonight’s Coronation Street, the residents are queuing up to give Idris a hard time after the incident involving Abi’s mouldy flat.

Meanwhile, Cassie could be drifting apart from Steve, and Glenda gets a step closer to discovering what Christina is hiding.

1. Abi threatens Idrisabi webster, carl webster, coronation street

Alfie is due to be discharged from hospital following his recent medical scare. He and Abi will be moving back in with Kevin until the health hazards in their flat are sorted out.

When Abi crosses paths with Idris again, he promises that he’s working quickly to address the problems. This isn’t enough to pacify Abi, who threatens to sue him.

2. Carl also clashes with Idriscarl webster, coronation street

Now firmly back in the Webster family fold, Carl also has his say when he next sees Idris.

With tensions building between the two alpha males, it’s left to Kit to intervene to calm things down. Will Carl and Idris become the Street’s newest rivals?

3. Idris receives more bad newsbrody michaelis kit green idris sharma, coronation street

It’s clearly not Idris’s day, as he’s later given cause to question his risky decision to get Brody involved in criminal dealings.

When Idris realises that Kit is Brody’s father and he’s a police detective, he’s struck by how much this complicates matters!

4. Steve prepares to make amends with Cassiecassie plummer, steve mcdonald, coronation street

Steve looks forward to reconciling with Cassie, who’s doubting their relationship after he turned down her wedding proposal.

Despite constant jibes from Tracy, optimistic Steve reckons they can sort things out.

5. Cassie may have other ideascassie plummer ross wilkes, coronation street

ITV

Cassie heads to the Chariot Square Hotel and asks Ryan to open a tab for her, before drinking heavily on a ‘2 for 1’ cocktail deal.

When Cassie sees newcomer Ross Wilkes nearby, she fails to recognise him from her past and propositions him. It’s a big mistake, as Ross is Tyrone’s biological father and is heading to the Street imminently!

6. Glenda goes snooping in Christina’s bagchristina, george shuttleworth, glenda shuttleworth, coronation street

Glenda is determined to get some answers over Christina’s secrecy, so searches through her handbag.

After initially fearing that Christina is being unfaithful to George, the plot thickens when Glenda finds a series of strange credit card statements.

7. Will’s progress is short-livedollie driscoll, will driscoll, coronation street

ITV

Susie gets plenty of praise at the Rovers when she’s the first person to make a breakthrough with Will by getting him smiling again.

The positive mood doesn’t last, though, as Will later goes out for a run but finds the reminders of Megan are too much to cope with.
