Emmerdale spoilers follow.
Emmerdale fans can expect an action-packed set of episodes next week, as Joe Tate prepares to tie the knot with Dawn Fletcher – or so he thinks.
Unsuspecting Joe has no idea that his bride-to-be plans to jilt him and run away with old flame Billy, but Dawn is about to face an impossible dilemma that has life-changing consequences. To say things don’t go to plan is an understatement, as tragedy soon strikes the big day…

Believing Joe was responsible for the attack that put Billy in a coma, Dawn has pledged herself to her ex and has agreed to flee the village with him and their kids so they can have a fresh start.
The only snag is that Joe didn’t actually carry out the assault – Billy’s just letting Dawn think he did so she’ll have reason to hate her fiancé!
By this point, Kev has now confessed to the accidental assault – which occurred when he was trying to foil a robbery at the depot – and Billy is struggling to maintain his deception.
Joe, however, has no idea the lengths his love rival has gone to in order to steal Dawn back, and is preparing for what should be the happiest day of his life…
On the morning of the nuptials, Graham can’t shake his suspicion that something is afoot. Despite his concerns, he reassures Joe the ceremony will go without a hitch. But waiting in the wings is Billy, who is desperate to get away – preferably before Dawn finds out the truth about his attack.
