The Celebrity Traitors returns tonight after a dramatic first week, but what could happen in the most treacherous game on television? Here’s everything you need to know about the latest episode, including start time and predictions.

The hit BBC reality series returned last week with its first celebrity iteration, with host Claudia Winkleman welcoming 19 famous faces to the beautiful location of Ardross Castle in Scotland.

After much anticipation, Cat Burns, Jonathan Ross and Alan Carr were selected as the inaugural Traitors for the season, with Thursday’s (9 October) episode seeing Carr dispatch close friend Paloma Faith.

What to Read Next

Fresh from the brutal elimination, The Celebrity Traitors will return at 9pm on BBC One, with the synopsis (via RadioTimes) teasing that the treacherous trio won’t wait long to commit their next murder despite the “shockwaves” from the previous one.

“As a new day dawns, the celebrity players turn their focus to a mission that forces them to work very closely as a team under punishing conditions. But as night falls, will they continue to collaborate at the round table and catch a traitor, or will they inadvertently banish a fellow faithful?” it continues.

With the first roundtable session set to take place, we at Digital Spy think it could be bad news for Kate Garraway as we predicted that she will be voted off with a total of eight votes.

Naturally, anything could happen, and we wouldn’t be surprised if Niko Omilana was the eliminated contestant. Tameka Empson and Tom Daley, who have also received votes so far, may also be feeling a bit nervous.

These are also reflected in the odds that we have put together for the season, with Garraway and Carr currently viewed as the least likely candidates to win overall given their already-precarious position.

Daley, Joe Marler, David Olusoga, Celia Imrie and Stephen Fry are also considered outside bets to take home the £100,000 cash prize (which will go to charity), but fortunes can change in an instant in this game.

On the flip side, singer-songwriter Burns is currently the frontrunner in our odds, with their cool and calm demeanour – along with the natural advantage of being a Traitor – standing them in good stead.

We also think that Joe Wilkinson and Clare Balding stand good chances of going far as they are yet to really slip up – who do you think will come out on top? Handily, we also have the almost-complete The Celebrity Traitors release schedule as well.

The Traitors series 1-3 are streaming on BBC iPlayer. The Celebrity Traitors airs on BBC One on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 9pm.
