Married At First Sight UK stars Julia-Ruth Smith and Leigh Harris have reacted to last night’s dramatic and “intense” dinner party. Taking to social media, Julia-Ruth shared an apology after the show aired, saying: “Well, that wasn’t fun…”
In last night’s episode, couple Julia-Ruth and Divarni walked into the dinner party holding each other’s hands, despite having a tense week that left them at breaking point.
Earlier in the week, Julia-Ruth was caught out for lying about her and Divarni’s sex life, while her husband was told that his wife doesn’t find him sexually attractive.

Upon entering the dinner party, the other couples said they were surprised to see Julia-Ruth and Divarni coming in together.
Responding to the shock, Julia-Ruth said: “We had a bit of a week, didn’t we?”, while Divarni disclosed that they had celebrated their one-month anniversary the day before.
After bride Leigh called Julia-Ruth “delusional”, Julia-Ruth said she had apologised to Divarni, but Leigh said: “His character has been ripped apart for weeks.”

Later, Leigh overheard Julia-Ruth talking about her, saying, “She’s a stupid bitch. She’s a little snake”, and all hell broke loose at the dinner table.
Sharing her thoughts on the episode on Instagram, Julia-Ruth shared an apology with fans, writing: “Well, that wasn’t fun…
“Again, just a flawed human being who’s learning as she’s going. Let’s see what tomorrow holds for us another chance to grow and be better. Less intense I hope…”
Meanwhile, Leigh also opened up about the episode on her Instagram, calling the dinner party “f**king eventful”.

She continued: “LOL, all jokes aside, I’ve said this before and I’ll say it until I’m blue in the face, I will ALWAYS stand up for what I believe in. And I will also always be a voice for those that need it.
“Regardless [of] what’s happening in my own life, I can acknowledge my own downfalls, take accountability when necessary, but what I won’t do is shy away from defending someone because I’m not perfect.”
Following the episode, Julia-Ruth also took to her Instagram Stories to share an apology, which read: “I came into this experiment hoping for the best – a lifetime partner. I think I lost myself to this process, over and over.

“I hurt a lot of good people who loved me and to this day am still making amends with those I’ve wronged and will continue to do so.”
Her post continued: “Unfortunately that dinner party was not the best in any way. I had alcohol, was emotionally drained, sleep-deprived, felt backed into a corner and wasn’t the best version of myself in any capacity.
“I take full responsibility for my absolute freak-out and will learn to just pipe down, walk away and do better in future.”
