A British wildlife photographer has shared his favourite shots of the year – from sweet lion cubs in Kenya to a bear snatching a fish in Alaska, showcasing extraordinary moments from around the world.

Guide and conservationist Paul Goldstein walked 25 marathons in 25 days for charity in his iconic tiger suit this summer.

He raised funds for Tigers4Ever, supporting anti-poaching and community efforts for wild tigers.

He walked around 25 marathons in 25 days (around 1000km total) in his tiger suit in August/September 2025, from Tigerton, Scotland to Tiger Bay, Wales

However, the Wimbledon-based snapper still found time to capture beautiful images of amazing animals.

His pictures range from the Rift Valley in Kenya to polar bears in Canada and Spitsbergen, and jaguars in Brazil.

He also photographed emperor penguins and icebergs in Antarctica, as well as grizzlies and humpbacks in Alaska.

Paul said: ‘I know the perfect photograph will always elude me, but the challenge never dies, nor does the importance of these often endangered animals’ place in our world.’
