EastEnders spoilers follow.

EastEnders’ mysterious newcomer Jasmine Fisher will commit a serious crime as her storyline escalates in new scenes. The character recently arrived in Walford and has been working at the Prince Albert, also getting close to Oscar Branning.

However, suspicions have been raised around her, with Lauren, Oscar and Elaine Peacock trying to snoop on her online presence, only to find she didn’t have any. She later claimed to Oscar that her parents didn’t allow her to have a smartphone or go on social media until she was 18.

“Maybe they were just looking out for me,” she told him. “Their worries must’ve rubbed off cause I still hate using socials. You know, in case some weirdo tries to track my movements online!”

Oscar then pressed on her interest in Cindy, with Jasmine saying it was nothing more than admiration.

Later on, she asked Oscar and Peter if she could stay with them while she looked for her own place, and while Peter offered his and Lauren’s bedroom, Jasmine pushed to stay in the spare room that is Cindy’s. Despite Peter’s hesitancy, Oscar convinced him to allow Jasmine to stay there.
