Hollyoaks’ Lucas Hay may have a sinister trick in store for his dad Ste after discovering his affair with Dillon Ray.
In scenes airing on 5 January, Lucas may exact his revenge against Ste after he discovered he had slept with his ex-boyfriend Dillon.
On Christmas Day, Lucas overheard a confrontation between Dillon and Ste, in which the pair discussed their fling. Meanwhile, a furious Rex Gallagher, who recently rekindled his romance with Ste, also found out about the short-lived affair.
In an upcoming development, Lucas pockets a bottle of pills dropped by Mercedes McQueen.

As Ste and Rex are looking forward to celebrating New Year’s Eve, they run into Dillon. Rex is less than impressed when Ste checks in on Dillon, who insists he’s sober but still resentful.
Ste begs him not to mention their affair to Lucas, unaware his son already knows and is plotting his revenge.
Lucas maintains a façade of normality and offers to cook for Ste, but is he planning to poison him with the pills?
Elsewhere, Mercedes apologises to Diane Hutchinson for shooting Tony, as she was revealed to be the gun-wielding figure who fired at the pub owner during the soap’s 30th anniversary scenes.

As per Tony’s request, Diane can’t report Mercedes to the police, but instead opts to tell the truth to Darren and Nancy Osborne.
For her part, Mercedes has other things to worry about as Warren Fox is hiding a cheating secret from her.
After sleeping together, Gemma Johnson is taunting Warren to spill all, right as he confesses to Mercedes that he had been planning on proposing to her.
Hollyoaks airs on Mondays-Wednesdays with its Channel 4 streamingpremiere at 7am, then an E4 broadcast the same night at 7pm. Full episodes are also released on YouTube a week after their Channel 4 release.
