The Active Max is equipped with 24/7 health monitoring, powered by Amazfit’s Biotracker PPG biometric Sensor, which enables constant tracking of heart rates, sleep quality, blood oxygen level and stress. Alongside this is the BioCharge Energy Monitoring, a score system that adjusts itself depending on the user’s workouts, daily activities and stress levels.
Users get alerts when abnormal readings are detected by the watch, to help them stay aware of their wellbeing as well as help support more balanced training decisions.

The smartwatch is designed for a wide range of activities. It has a durable aluminium alloy frame with 50 metres of water resistance. The Active Max supports over 170 sports modes, including running, cycling and strength training. It also comes with a Smart Strength Training functionality with automatically detects repetitions, sets and rest time across 25 different exercise types, helping users to track their workout.
Featuring a 1.5-inch AMOLED Display with a resolution of 480 x 480 pixels and peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits, the Active Max’s screen ensures clear visibility in various lighting conditions, from indoor gyms to outdoor trails. Packaged together is a magnetic charging head, however it does not come with its own Type-C cable and users will have to use their own.
Better functionality, navigation and battery life
Active Max can be connected to the user’s smartphone via Bluetooth, enabling users to make phone calls, control the watch via voice commands, read messages and, for Android users, reply to messages with speech-to-text.
The watch allows users to access offline maps, save detailed routes and explore coverage for over 2,000 ski resorts directly from the watch itself. It is compatible with Android 7.0 and above and iOS 14.0 and above, and can be paired with Zepp App which help users analyze trends, get personalized insights, track nutrition and fitness progress.
The Active Max has a battery life of up to 25 days with light use and 13 days of heavy use. Heavy use is defined as involving continuous monitoring and high-intensity activities that keep the display or sensors active for long periods.
