A new Coronation Street trailer has teased how four big storylines will play out in the aftermath of the Emmerdale crossover episode, Corriedale. The huge crossover episode centred on a multi-vehicle crash that claimed the life of Billy Mayhew.

As Weatherfield is still reeling from the loss of the vicar, grief has hit Todd Grimshaw and Summer Spellman particularly hard.

The new clip reveals that Todd’s controlling boyfriend, Theo Silverton, might soon have to confront his responsibilities in Billy’s death. The night of the crash, Theo went back to the minivan to fasten Billy’s seatbelt, letting him die.

In new scenes, a guilt-ridden Theo is at Billy’s coffin, confessing his sins and expressing regret over not helping him. The villain is horrified when he hears a door slam. He races out, but who listened to his shocking admission?
