EastEnders spoilers follow for Monday’s episode (9 February), which is available to watch now on streaming service BBC iPlayer and hasn’t yet aired on TV.

EastEnders’ Ravi Gulati has been hit with two major setbacks, as he faces suspicion in his secret role as police informant, while his son Nugget has a terrifying health scare. For the last few months, Ravi has been working as a mole within the drugs operation he is involved in, feeding back intel to his handler Jack.

But when Mark recently arrived back in Albert Square, it was revealed that he is also part of the gang, and he was brutally beaten up as his colleagues suspected that he was working with the police.

With Mark determined to find the real informant, Ravi is trying to focus on his family while keeping the secret that he attacked Nugget last month, after being spiked by Nicola and Harry.

The family took Nugget out for a driving lesson in his new car in today’s episode, but the teen zoned out and snapped at his family when they expressed their concerns.

Ravi met up with Jack and told him he had been asked to do a pick-up of drugs and meet a new contact today – but Mark spied their covert conversation.

He got a shock when he discovered that the new contact was Mark, who gave him the details for the pick-up. Mark used the opportunity to question him about why he was pally with Jack, and Ravi was left rattled.

Ravi wondered whether Mark had been sent to test him, and his new colleague confirmed that he would have a few more jobs for him in the coming days and weeks.

Back in Walford, Mark told Phil that he suspected Ravi could be the mole. Phil doubted that Ravi would do this, but Mark decided to keep a close eye on him.

Meanwhile, in Ravi’s absence, Priya agreed to take Nugget out for a driving lesson herself. As they headed out to the car, Nugget zoned out once again and started experiencing a painful headache.

Ravi returned and found Priya and Nugget clashing after a rather tricky lesson. But as Priya and Ravi argued outside, they were horrified when they spotted Nugget having a seizure behind the wheel.

Will Nugget be okay, and has Ravi’s identity been exposed?
