ITV has released a new look at the next series of I’m a Celebrity…South Africa.

The first of two teasers, which aired during the first episode of the new series of Britain’s Got Talent, see hosts Ant and Dec seated around a campfire when Ant is scared by a sudden noise.

“What was that?” he asks Dec, who casually replies, “Just a big cat,” which causes Ant to jump out of his seat in panic, shouting “A big cat?! No way!”, with Dec running after him after a second roar rings out.

A second teaser is due to air later this week, no doubt continuing the campfire hijinks.

The first series of I’m a Celebrity…South Africa aired in 2023 and featured past campmates including Janice Dickinson, Corrie’s Helen Flanagan, former royal butler Paul Burrell and boxer Amir Kahn. It was ultimately won by singer Myleene Klass.

However, this series will put a twist on the format, with viewers being able to vote on the winner of the pre-recorded show at a live grand finale in London.

“The trials are tougher than ever and the stakes couldn’t be higher. With relentless twists and turns, the campmates will never know what’s coming next. They will be faced with challenges at every turn, quickly learning that with big decisions come even bigger consequences…”

While the line-up of returning celebrities hasn’t been revealed yet, with xx years of jungle antics to choose from, the new series is sure to be entertaining, whoever makes the trip to the South African jungle.

I’m a Celebrity… South Africa will air on ITV & STV this spring.
