Emmerdale spoilers follow from Monday’s episode (2 March), which is available to watch now on ITVX and YouTube but hasn’t yet aired on ITV1.

In tonight’s visit to Emmerdale, DS Walsh is delighted when she stumbles across new evidence which could turn the Ray Walters murder case on its head. Should Paddy and Dylan be worried after the secrets they’ve both been keeping?

Meanwhile, Cain receives yet more bad news at the farm, and Arthur fears that his shameful actions will be uncovered.

1. DS Walsh issues a warningds walsh, emmerdale

Bear continues to avoid home after last week’s dramatic visit to the hospital, which culminated in him losing control and attacking Jacob. We see him walking alongside a country road, hiding from passing traffic so that nobody spots him.

When DS Walsh catches up with Paddy, she tries her best to be as sensitive as possible over the difficult situation. However, she also warns that Bear has breached his curfew conditions and will be remanded in custody once he’s found.

2. Paddy makes a plandylan penders, paddy kirk, emmerdale

Paddy finally makes progress when he tracks down his missing father, who is seeking closure at Anya’s empty grave.

Hoping to thwart DS Walsh’s plans, Paddy tries to arrange for Bear to stay at a secure mental health unit. He believes this could prevent him from being held on remand, but will everything go as he hopes?

3. DS Walsh makes a crucial discoveryvanessa woodfield, emmerdale

Although DS Walsh is being far nicer than usual towards Bear’s family, her demeanour changes when she spots a piece of evidence that appears to be connected to Ray’s murder case.

Walsh has always believed that the full story behind Ray’s demise still hasn’t been shared, especially as Bear couldn’t have moved the villain’s body alone. Could she finally prove her theory that Paddy and Dylan were involved?

4. There’s another nail in the coffin for the farmcain dingle, joe tate, emmerdale

Joe arranges a herd inspection at Butler’s Farm due to a suspected TB case. This leaves the business at a standstill until they know more – and if the results are bad, the cows may need to be culled.

This is the last thing Cain wants to hear, with Butler’s already under severe financial pressure in Moira’s absence. With Joe circling and hoping to buy Moira’s share, is it only a matter of time before he gets his wish?

5. Dr Todd spots a new way to target Jacobjacob gallagher, emmerdale

Dr Todd visits The Woolpack with Manpreet, who turns out to be an old friend of hers. She’s furious to hear Jacob bad-mouthing her to Eric and Mary, pointing out that she’s a nightmare boss.

Later, after Jacob apologises, Dr Todd announces plans to bring him onto her prestigious mentorship programme. But does this “kind” act mask her sinister intentions?

6. Arthur’s under pressure at the hospitalarthur thomas, emmerdale

ITV

Laurel insists that she doesn’t want any fuss while she remains under observation at hospital, but Nicola maintains that they need proper answers over why she blacked out.

Arthur panics over Nicola’s approach, fearful that his role in Laurel’s fall will soon be uncovered.
