Sarah Clyne, 38, has opened a new boutique gym at the Brunel Units, in Clacton, with well-known fitness group Fight Klub.
The fitness classes put a focus on the fun in fitness and conduct a lot of sessions alongside drum-and-bass music.

Sarah first qualified as a fitness instructor in 2008 after finding her passion for fitness during university.
She said: “Before then I was overweight, unfit and lacked confidence – it was the typical story.
“I felt like I didn’t belong in the typical gym so I found my own little groove during university and got all my friends involved.
“This is how I found out what made me feel good and I found my view changed from ‘I have to lose weight’ to ‘wow this is fun.’
“As a by-product of my enjoyment I got healthier, fitter and lost weight!”
The unit was acquired by Sarah through a community accelerator programme, held by Fight Klub.

Sara took on the role of running the gym to inspire others to become passionate about fitness.
“We are currently redoing the building and have brought more staff in.” Sarah said.
“All the walls are black, there is disco lighting and a subwoofer system to play the best drum and bass music.
“It is like a tiny nightclub for fitness.”
