Emmerdale spoilers follow from Tuesday’s episode (17 March), which is available to watch now on ITVX and YouTube but hasn’t aired on ITV1 yet.
In tonight’s Emmerdale, Joe Tate hatches a new plan now that he knows Lydia Dingle is set to inherit Home Farm in the future. Graham Foster’s meddling has sparked this situation, but things aren’t working out as he’d hoped.
Meanwhile, it’s all change for Cain Dingle as he says his goodbyes to Butlers Farm.
Read on for four early spoilers from Tuesday’s episode…
1. Joe starts to manipulate Lydia – but Graham is worried
ITV
Joe remains unhappy following the revelation that Kim is leaving Home Farm to Lydia in her will. Graham exposed this secret to drive a wedge between Joe and Kim, but it looks like it’s Lydia who may pay the ultimate price.
Joe interrupts a Dingle gathering at The Woolpack, heaping praise on Lydia for her cleaning work at the estate and offering her a salary increase.
He seems to be playing the long game by plotting against Lydia, but Graham struggles to hide his anxiety – the aim was to bring down Kim, not an innocent party!
2. Cain is on the move
ITV
After recently agreeing to vacate Butlers Farm as quickly as possible, Cain moves into the Dingle family homestead alongside Kyle and Isaac.
The family celebrates this fresh start, despite the sombre circumstances. Will Cain be able to get back on his feet before long? And will he be suspicious when he observes Joe’s “kindness” towards Lydia?
3. Paddy and Dylan confess all
ITV
Paddy and Dylan are mortified over Bear’s decision to sacrifice himself in his recent interview with the police. Bear has told the detectives that he killed Ray deliberately, hoping this will be enough to stop them from pursuing Paddy and Dylan in the investigation.
Keen to set the record straight, Paddy and Dylan both head to the police station and finally confess that they were present for Ray’s death and actively involved in the subsequent cover-up. They clarify that Bear only harmed Ray to keep them safe, but what will DS Walsh believe?
4. Eric makes a shock discovery
ITV
Eric plays detective following his chat with Archie and Kyle, who tipped him off over the possibility of Jai and Kerry enjoying a secret fling.
Before long, Eric has cast-iron proof of Kerry’s affair, but what will he do with the information? And could this risk trouble for everyone, in light of Eric’s sham marriage to Kerry?
Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 8pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX.
