Coronation Street spoilers follow from Friday’s episode (20 March), which is available to watch now on ITVX and YouTube but hasn’t aired on ITV1 yet.

Coronation Street villain Megan Walsh continues to panic tonight – as her boyfriend Daniel Osbourne becomes the latest character to uncover her true colours.

Megan realises that she’s losing supporters quickly as Daniel makes it clear that he’s no longer prepared to stand by her. Is this another nail in the coffin for her future?

Viewers have seen Megan slyly fight to keep herself out of trouble after being caught out for grooming local teen Will Driscoll. Sam Blakeman raised the alarm this week, but as there’s little evidence, police have been unable to charge Megan.

Daniel has been defending Megan all week, but everything changes tonight when he discovers that she’s been deceiving him over her pregnancy.

In a tense discussion at the café, furious Eva Price asks Daniel: “Did you know that she was pregnant? Megan, your so-called girlfriend. You shouldn’t believe a word that comes out of that woman’s mouth.

“Why would Sam make things up about her? She has lied about having an abortion and she is lying about this as well.”

Later, Daniel demands an explanation from Megan over her secrecy and the future of their relationship.

When Megan refuses to arrange a DNA test to identify the father of the baby, the scales finally fall from Daniel’s eyes as he realises that she could be expecting Will’s child.

Heading straight for the Rovers Return, Daniel sternly orders his nephew Adam Barlow to axe Megan from his list of clients at the law firm.

As Daniel rants about Megan’s refusal to do a DNA test, he loudly declares that she must be a child groomer who’s carrying Will’s baby.

Sadly, Daniel’s lack of discretion exposes Will’s troubling situation to everyone at the pub. With the news sure to spread, could this make matters worse for the vulnerable schoolboy?

Coronation Street has worked on Will and Megan’s grooming storyline with support from Barnardo’s. Support and information is available via the charity’s website.

Coronation Street airs on weeknights at 8.30pm on ITV1 and streams on ITVX.
