Remember when the sequin t-shirts were the most popular fashion choice among kids, and everyone was stroking the patterns to get to different colors? Now they’re back in 3D!
Technical artist Cino Lai recreated the trendy design with Substance 3D Painter and Designer, proving that a two-sided sequin material is as beautiful in 3D.
“It is suitable for patterns with the same silhouette but different content,” the creator said on LinkedIn. To achieve this look, he created two sets of height structures and blended them through masks.
