1. Jacob confides in Ross

Jacob struggles with the many stresses in his life. Not only is he dealing with Dr Todd’s nasty behaviour at work, his bullying boss is now living in the village. Jacob has also been called as a witness at Bear’s trial, following the incident between them at the hospital.
Ross spots that Jacob isn’t his usual self and asks what’s going on. When Ross learns that Jacob’s tormentor at work is a woman, he suggests that talking things through with her may be the best option.
2. Jacob loses patience over Dr Todd

Jacob chooses to listen to Ross’s advice and heads to see Dr Todd at Vanessa’s house, where she’s now living.
He asks for a word, but the conversation goes badly, prompting him to make a formal complaint at work.
3. Jacob makes his complaint

Jacob opts to keep Sarah in the dark over his plans to report Dr Todd to the HR department. He does speak to his friend and colleague Rich, who warns that it could be career suicide to speak up like this.
Before long, Dr Todd witnesses Jacob heading into a meeting with HR and she’s visibly rattled.
4. Charity goes into labour while stranded

Mack and Charity head off to pick up a cake for Sarah’s baby shower at The Woolpack. However, car trouble soon leaves them stranded – just as Charity’s waters break. As neither Mack nor Charity has their phone, they have no way of contacting anyone.
Fortunately, Ross drives past and reluctantly agrees to give the couple a lift to the hospital.
5. Charity faces more trauma at the hospital

Once Charity, Mack and Ross arrive at the hospital, they head into a lift but are horrified when it breaks down. Charity panics that she won’t get the help she needs, while Mack is triggered by the confined space and battles bad memories of his ordeal being trapped in John’s bunker.
It’s left to Ross to take control of the situation, calling for help over the intercom and following instructions over how to safely deliver the baby.
6. Jacob breaks his silence

During his HR meeting, Jacob recounts the various incidents of bullying from Dr Todd and how they’ve made him feel. He’s unaware of the chaos unfolding with Charity elsewhere in the building.
Once Jacob is finally out of the meeting, he worries as he notices a number of missed calls. Todd interrupts and demands to know why Jacob was with HR, but he bravely stands up to her in person.
7. Charity’s life hangs in the balance

Ross successfully delivers the baby in the lift, but fears for Charity when there’s a growing pool of blood on the floor.
In the aftermath, Charity’s life hangs in the balance. Will she pull through?
8. Moira and Cain face more problems
ITV
Following Moira’s release from prison, Lydia agrees to give her and Cain some time alone together at the Dingle house. Sam makes a joke about what the couple will be getting up to, but Cain feels that he’s being pressured to have sex before he’s ready.
When Cain storms off, Moira is left in despair over their relationship becoming so strained.
9. Robert struggles with his guilt

Moira also finds it difficult to adjust to the reality of her new life, as she no longer has a hands-on role at the farm to keep her busy.
Robert feels terrible, still plagued with guilt over all the problems that he’s caused for Moira.
10. Kammy gets nervous over his new romance
ITV
Belle gets excited after arranging a date with Kammy.
Kammy also gets an invite to Sarah’s baby shower, but feels nervous about attending a Dingle gathering. Will it go well?
11. There’s bad news for Bear
ITV
Paddy learns that Bear has been moved into solitary confinement after fighting with another prisoner. He worries that this doesn’t bode well for Bear’s chances of release.
That’s not the only thing on Paddy’s mind, as he’s also fearful that he and Dylan could be facing a long stretch behind bars too.
12. Dylan plans to break up with April

April discusses her plans to wait for Dylan if he gets sent down.
Dylan has very different ideas, believing that it’s best to split from April and set her free if he’s sent to prison. Marlon lets this slip to April, but how will she react?
13. Mandy hides a secret of her own
ITV
Paddy expresses his relief that Mandy has the salon, which will provide financial security if he’s sent to jail.
Mandy seems worried by his comment – what is she hiding?
