Total Fitness Bolton has unveiled upgraded equipment, revamped interiors, and expanded workout areas.
The improvements are designed to encourage regular visits and support long-term fitness habits, and Total Fitness said it has been based on an insight-led approach.
Dean Zweck, head of product at Total Fitness, said: “We know how much our Bolton members care about their fitness, so we wanted to give them spaces that feel modern, comfortable and built around their needs.

“From new strength kit to refreshed studios and a bigger Women’s Workout Space with more variety of equipment, the club now has more ways for people to move in the way that suits them best.”
The space features improved strength training facilities across both gym floors, along with a larger women’s workout area and an upgraded studio.
New multi-functional rigs now support a wider variety of exercises, from functional training to resistance work.
A quieter free weights area has also been added on the lower gym floor.
Total Fitness Bolton has also introduced new lifting platforms for safer heavy lifting.
Additional strength equipment includes a two-in-one pendulum squat and calf raise machine, a new hip thrust machine and a new leg press, a hack squat, a second Smith machine, and a rear delt and pec fly machine.
The Mind and Body Studio has been converted into an expanded Women’s Workout Space.
The Women’s Workout Space now includes more equipment and the option for female-only classes.
The spin studio features new bikes and the Coach by Colour spin experience.
Using colour zones and real-time feedback, Coach by Colour helps members personalise class intensity, track progress, and celebrate improvements over time.
Other upgrades include fresh paintwork and new flooring that have brightened and modernised key areas.
