Kelly Brook is one of the famous faces heading to the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here camp this year. Many were surprised that the model and presenter is heading to Australia, as she previously claimed she’d never take part in the show.

Speaking in 2018, Kelly said: “I can just think of a million things I’d rather do.

“I’d rather go and work in my local pub. I don’t think I could, I really don’t, because I hate confined spaces. I don’t want to eat eyeballs or sheep testicles and all the things they have to eat on there. Even if I had a huge tax bill and I had to pay it really urgently, I still wouldn’t do it.”

She added: “It’s kind of like the beginning of the end in my opinion!’

Sharing why she had a change of heart, she said: “What changed? Really good question. A friend of mine got asked to have a meeting with the producers of I’m A Celebrity and I said, ‘You have to do it, I love watching it, what an incredible life experience…’ I was thinking, why can’t I give myself that advice?”

She continued on the How To Fail podcast, “I realised it was basically out of fear, and I thought, it’s about time that I live my ‘don’t give a damn’ era.”

This year’s I’m A Celebrity is getting a big rule change, with the campmates only being able to do two BushTucker trials in a row before they are exempt from the next voting.

The shakeup means more campmates are responsible for winning stars, and taking home food. They’ll also get a fairer shot at screen time, meaning viewers will be able to get to know more of the celebrities, rather than a select few.

Joining Kelly for this year’s run will be Aitch, Alex Scott, Angryginge, Eddie Kadi, Jack Osbourne, Lisa Riley, Martin Kemp, Ruby Wax, Tom Read Wilson, Vogue Williams, and Shona McGarty.

I’m A Celebrity will return on Sunday (16 November).
