EastEnders has confirmed that Howie Danes will make a “life-changing” decision next month after releasing the dramatic first spoilers for December. Howie has been hiding a big secret from his family after falling into criminality earlier in the year.
Back in July, Howie and Patrick won £6,000 after placing a bet on a horse after he heard Kim complaining about how he wasn’t as good a provider as her ex Vincent was.

A few days after their win, Oscar Branning broke into Patrick’s house and stole the money, leaving Patrick for dead after shoving him to the ground.
When Howie worked out who was behind the attack and robbery, he opted not to tell the police and instead told Oscar and Lauren to hand over the money to him in return for his silence.

Howie has been on edge ever since, aware that Oscar could reveal his secret at any moment. He’s also been committing other crimes in exchange for money.
After Kim accidentally destroyed her computer and filming equipment, Howie said he would get an extra job to make money delivering parcels. Howie was later seen pocketing a gold necklace.
New spoilers released by the BBC reveal that early next month, “Howie makes a life-changing decision”. Will he finally come clean or will he fall further into a life of crime?

Meanwhile, Nicola attempts to protect Harry since he accidentally killed Okie during a fight. With his dad Teddy taking the fall for the crime and Harry relapsing on drugs, will Harry be able to keep his own secret?

EastEnders airs on Mondays – Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer, where most episodes drop early at 6am ahead of their TV broadcast.
