The woman who has been famously labelled as the “world’s hottest gran” has revealed her daily fitness and diet routines that she credits for her youthful appearance – with one particular exercise being her favourite.

Gina Stewart, 55, admits to indulging during Christmas, but she never strays too far from her disciplined regimen, ensuring she stays in shape throughout the year.

The model, who is a grandmother to three, has certain non-negotiables in her routine. These include lifting weights three to five times a week and making sure she walks between 8,000 and 10,000 steps each day.

She also ensures she gets seven to nine hours of sleep “like your life depends on it”, seeks morning sunlight, avoids eating junk food at night and maintains a zero-sugar diet.

The gran, hailing from the Gold Coast in Australia, believes that if you consistently follow these habits, you’ll never tell yourself you’re “too old”. She added: “Age isn’t the problem, excuses are.”

When asked by the Mirror if her routines are affected during Christmas, she responded: “My willpower is strong over Christmas. I do allow myself a few days to indulge and enjoy but not a whole week.

“In general I try not to let myself go. So I maintain my weight and fitness levels most importantly with walking everyday without fail. I strongly believe walking is necessary, as the old adage says, if you move it you will lose it.

“I also believe in yoga and bodyweight exercises are amazing and I have a routine I do four times a week to tone and strengthen every part of my body.”

Gina mentioned that whilst there’s nothing wrong with indulging in your favourite tipple over Christmas, generally speaking, “dropping the alcohol is definitely a good long term choice”.

She explained this guidance stemmed from her own recent experience at a Christmas do where she had several glasses of red wine, which left her “not feeling so good”.

Following her workout breakdown, Gina, who hails from the Gold Coast in Australia, shared details about her eating habits.

Revealing some of her daily essentials, she explained: “I combine basic self care like what I mentioned with each morning half a lemon squeezed in cool water to start my day. I then have a celery juice each morning from a big bunch of celery, cold pressed.

“I always have fresh spring water to drink throughout my day and I eat as clean as possible – mostly organic goods and hardly any processed foods or takeouts.

“I swear by my protocol and at 55 I still don’t have one grey hair on my head. I don’t know why, it could be genetics or plenty of good nutrition.”

Gina mentioned that she also takes health supplements, typically with her evening smoothie which consists of organic blueberries, organic bananas and coconut water.
