A bingeable recent crime thriller has landed on streaming in the UK – so if you’re searching for a gripping weekend watch, look no further. Honor comes from Spain, and was originally released in 2023.
The eight-episode drama focuses on a respected judge who abandons his principles when his son is involved in a hit-and-run, opting to cover up the crime.
Honor has now become available to stream on Channel 4 through the Walter Presents label, which promotes non-English language dramas.
The synopsis reads: “On the second anniversary of his mothers’ death, Alex goes to lay flowers at the spot where she died. On the way, he is involved in a car accident and accidentally runs over a motorist and flees the scene.
“His father, Judge Romero’s first instinct is to take him to the police and do the right thing. But everything changes when he learns that the victim is Hugo Aguilar, the son of Vicente Aguilar, one of Cádiz ’s most dangerous gangsters.”
