EastEnders spoilers follow for Tuesday’s episode (24 February), which is available to watch now on streaming service BBC iPlayer and hasn’t yet aired on TV.
EastEnders’ Callum Highway has made a huge decision about his future, as he faces pressure from his partner Johnny Carter and a terrifying threat from dodgy Tim Walton. But as Callum prepares to move forward with his life, Johnny finds himself trapped in a shocking situation…
This week, Callum was torn over a message from a so-called friend of Ben’s, who ordered him to retrieve a USB stick from a mysterious address or else Ben would face more time in prison.
While Callum was initially reluctant, he eventually decided to go to the house with Kathy and Ian. But Callum realised he was being recorded and he later found out that Tim had set the whole thing up.
In today’s episode, Johnny refused to speak to Callum and struggled to forgive him, furious that he had broken into Tim’s house in order to help his separated husband.
Callum desperately tried to make amends with Johnny, and made a huge gesture to prove his commitment by finally signing his and Ben’s divorce papers and showing that he has moved on.

Johnny was pleased and the couple were excited to move forward together. Later, Callum made it clear that he wasn’t giving in to Tim’s demands and wouldn’t give him the dirt he wanted on a competitor.
Reasoning that it was him who brought Tim into their lives in the first place, Johnny vowed to fix the situation himself and so arranged a meeting with his business partner.

Linda bumped into Tim in the Square and raged at him for his actions, telling him that Callum had now signed the divorce papers and he and Johnny were stronger than ever.
Johnny met Tim in The Albert and told him that he will do anything for him not to go to the police with the incriminating footage of Callum. As Johnny grew more desperate, Tim made a sinister offer that left him stunned.
“I’ll leave him out of this, if you prove to me how sorry you are,” Tim said. “Come back to mine and I’ll delete the video. You get to keep your reinvestment, and Callum gets to keep his job, his freedom. He never has to know.

“Spend the time with me, and Callum’s nightmare disappears. Or don’t, and I take the CCTV straight to the police. Your choice.”
How will Johnny respond to Tim’s blackmail threat, and will he be coerced?
