So much so that it’s become something of a pop-cultural signature: high, glossy, and practically aerodynamic. But in a new video posted to Instagram, the singer-cum-actor offered a rare glimpse of something fans don’t often see – her natural hair texture. And it turns out Ari’s curls are very much alive and thriving.
In the clip, springy brunette curls frame her face, a far cry from the ultra-sleek ponytail that’s followed her through multiple musical eras. The look feels refreshingly low-key – not to mention that she’s donning a face mask – like seeing a superstar in off-duty mode.
