EastEnders has confirmed another setback for Jasmine Fisher following her release from prison, with Oscar Branning harbouring a secret that has ramifications for both Jasmine and her twin brother, Josh Goodwin.
In Thursday’s (9 April) episode, Jasmine was found not guilty for the murder of her father, Anthony Trueman. As her stint behind bars came to end, she will attempt to readjust to life back in Walford.

Unbeknownst to her, Oscar has developed a romantic connection with Josh, with next week’s scenes seeing the peculiar love triangle rear its ugly head as Oscar struggles to come to terms with the situation.
The week begins as Jasmine joins the Slaters in their visit to Nigel Bates. She starts to feel welcomed and gladly joins in on the family fun. On a high, she returns to The Vic, but her happiness is short-lived when Josh talks about his close bond with their grandfather, Patrick.
Feeling guilty over his dalliance with Josh while Jasmine was in prison, Oscar encourages his girlfriend to spend some quality time with her twin without him interfering, but Kim Fox has other ideas.
As Josh is completing a hair and beauty course at college, the salon owner thinks Oscar could be the perfect guinea pig for the hairdresser-in-training. The duo realise they can’t hide their chemistry, with Oscar storming out when the tension gets too much to bear.

“Oscar and Josh were once totally smitten!” our Walford insider explained. “Since he reunited with Jasmine, Oscar has had to forget his fling with his girlfriend’s twin brother. However, it seems that his feelings for Josh have far from disappeared…”
Will Jasmine realise what’s going on under her nose? Or will Oscar be able to put his fling with Josh behind him and build his bond with Jasmine? Either way, it’s set to be a dramatic time in East London.
