Coronation Street spoilers follow.
Next week on Coronation Street, all eyes are on Carl, Jodie, Maggie, Megan and Theo as the show builds up to the mystery murder plot. Who’s about to be killed?

1. Carl schemes against Theo

Carl is intrigued when he spots Theo trying to provoke Gary, who refuses to rise to the bait.
Deciding to give Theo a taste of his own medicine, Carl goads him in the hope that he can get the sly scaffolder arrested for assault.
2. Theo cruelly taunts Summer
ITV
Theo’s horrible behaviour continues as he confronts Summer at the corner shop and makes cruel remarks about Billy’s death.
As Theo declares that Billy begged him to save him during the crash, how will Summer respond?
3. George threatens Theo
ITV
Summer tells George about all the nasty things that Theo said at the shop.
George decides to intervene. Backed up by Gary, he warns that he won’t be responsible for his actions if Theo goes anywhere near Todd or Summer again.
4. Theo’s son returns
ITV
Theo remains an outcast in Weatherfield and sleeps in his van. His son Miles reappears but is shocked to see the state of his father.
Theo begs Miles to speak to Danielle on his behalf, arguing that they still have a chance of making things work as a family. Carl overhears this and spots another opportunity to cause trouble for Theo.
5. Todd plans to leave
ITV
Kit promises to help keep Todd safe from Theo. However, Todd decides that it’s best to get away for a while and plans to visit Eileen and Jason in Thailand. That night, Theo creepily watches Todd through the bedroom window.
Later in the week, Todd prepares to retrieve some things from the flat before his departure. Will he manage to get away?
6. Carla and Lisa say goodbye to Connie
ITV
Carla takes a call from the social worker, who has an update on Connie to share.
Later, Carla and Lisa break the news to Betsy that they’ve packed up Connie’s things as it’s time for her to return to her grandmother.
7. Carla asks for last-minute help
ITV
As Lisa goes through her wedding vows in a private rehearsal with Betsy, the teen is moved to tears by the emotional words.
However, Carla soon admits to Betsy that she hasn’t started on her own vows yet and needs some help to make them perfect!
8. Sally makes a sad discovery
ITV
Carla turns up for her hen party at The Rovers and is surprised to find everyone dressed up in an ‘underworld’ theme as a tribute to her.
Lisa also claims to be attending her own party, but Sally is surprised to find her looking at meals for one at the corner shop.
9. The Swarla wedding is thrown into crisis
ITV
Debbie is forced to postpone Carla and Lisa’s wedding, as the hotel’s function room is flooded. It’s left to Ryan to break the bad news to the happy couple.
Just when all hope seems lost, though, Ryan points out to Lisa that Carla would be willing to marry her anywhere and a lavish setting isn’t necessary.
10. Lisa saves the day

When the scheduled wedding date arrives, Lisa tricks Carla by announcing that they’ve been offered a free lunch at the hotel to make up for their recent disappointment.
Once they arrive, Carla is stunned as Lisa presents her with a wedding arch in a quiet corner. It turns out that Lisa has arranged for them to tie the knot after all, watched on by Betsy, Roy and Ryan.
Later, the surprises continue when Carla is called to deal with an alarm going off at the factory and finds her wedding reception inside!
11. Megan is told that she’s in the clear

Kit warns the Driscolls that the CPS have decided not to pursue a case against Megan due to a lack of evidence.
Will rushes to share the news with Megan, who reveals that she’s booked their tickets to Paris. Already well-prepared, Will hands over a guidebook.
12. Tensions rise between the Driscolls
ITV
Ollie starts to blame Ben for the situation with Will, claiming that he didn’t do enough to protect the schoolboy from Megan.
Maggie raises the possibility that Ben could soon do something stupid, as he’s frustrated over the lack of justice. She suggests that Eva should visit Megan and try to force a confession out of her, but how will Ben feel when he finds out?
13. Eva, Leanne and Toyah trap Megan
ITV
Eva finds Will’s burner phone, which is only being used to contact one number. She carries out an idea from Leanne, who reckons she should impersonate Will in a message and arrange to meet up.
With the trap set, Eva, Leanne and Toyah all confront Megan about the burner phone. The showdown turns violent and they leave Megan in a heap on the pavement.
Eva later informs Leanne and Toyah of her next ploy to get the upper hand – she planted a tracking device in Megan’s bag.
14. Will’s mum arrives

Maggie is surprised when she finds Will’s mother Melanie at the Bistro, after being called to the cobbles by Ollie. Melanie accuses Maggie of not doing enough to protect Will when he needed her.
When Melanie heads back to the Rovers, will the rows continue?
15. Eva finally gets a confession
ITV
Towards the end of the week, Eva confides in Leanne and Toyah about Megan’s latest twisted move – she has now openly admitted to sleeping with Will.
But with no proof to share with the police, what will Eva do next?
16. Carl is admitted to hospital
ITV
Debbie receives a call to let her know that Carl is in hospital.
Abi later shares news about Carl with Summer, who’s terrified by what she hears.
17. Carl tries to take control of the hotel
ITV
Carl ruthlessly blackmails Debbie into signing over the hotel. Getting ahead of himself, he even sacks Ryan and announces that he now owns the place.
Debbie has her own idea and makes it clear to Carl that he can’t have her business. When she offers him some cash on the condition that she’ll never see him again, will Carl take the deal?
18. There’s a new clue to Jodie’s past

Jodie spots a flyer which advertises a company called Haul North.
Still hiding many secrets from her past, Jodie is visibly rattled – but why?
19. Jodie is urged to leave Weatherfield
ITV
Jodie receives an unexpected visit from Olivia, one of the children she looked after when she worked as a nanny. However, it seems that there’s an ulterior motive when Jodie catches Olivia trying to retrieve a hard drive that Jodie stole from the teen’s dad.
Jodie tells Shona that Olivia’s dad is her violent ex-boyfriend, who wants her dead. Shona points out that, since Olivia knows where she lives, this dangerous man could turn up at any time. She urges Jodie to leave to keep herself and the rest of the Platts safe.
20. Christina has big plans for George’s business
ITV
With George now determined to keep going at the funeral parlour, Christina pitches an idea to get the business back on track.
Christina suggests taking out a large advert in the local paper – will it deliver the results that George needs?
21. A shock murder takes place
ITV
Towards the end of Carla and Lisa’s wedding day, a scream can be heard in the distance.
It’s the start of the Street’s big new murder mystery, in which either Carl, Jodie, Maggie, Megan or Theo is killed. Which villain has taken their last breath?
