A gym owner is expanding his businesses into a larger unit – which is due to be opening soon.
Sam Fowler, owner of Royals Gym in Holbeach has taken on the former Original Factory Shop site – which closed its doors in March.
After eight years at the current premises, the move will allow improved facilities for members with a growing popularity in fitness classes and the introduction of Hyrox, an indoor fitness competition.

Mr Fowler said: “ The new site gives us a fantastic opportunity to significantly upgrade what we offer.
“Plans include a larger training space, new and additional equipment and improved space for our class timetable.
“This allows us to continue building on the success of our group sessions.”

The move will allow further expansion of the gym which has been part of Mr Fowler’s longer-term plans.
He said: “It is a very exciting time for us.
“Moving into a larger space after so many years is a big milestone, and we’re incredibly proud of how far the gym has come.

“Supporting our local community has always been at the heart of what we do, providing a welcoming space for people of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds to take part in sport and fitness.”
The current site – the building is available to lease – will close as part of the relocation with all operations moving across to the new premises.
Mr Fowler added: “This move would not have been possible without the hard work and continued support of our fantastic team who play a huge role in everything we do.

“We are looking forward to continuing that in a much improved facility and welcoming both our existing members and new ones into this next chapter.”
