Big Brother has unveiled four new housemates following last night’s eviction twist that saw the first eviction of the 22nd series take place. Returning on Sunday, the ITV reality series introduced us to 12 new contestants, though not for long.

During last night’s episode it was revealed that Emily, Caroline and Sam were all at risk of being evicted and the trio had to vote among themselves to decide who would be leaving the house immediately.

While we may have already lost one housemate in Emily, who was voted out by the other two, the end of last night’s episode teased four new housemates, who would be entering the Big Brother house during tonight’s episode.

Set to enter the house tonight are newcomers Cameron B, Feyisola, George and Richard, who promise to bring “chaotic energy” and “humour” to the house.

Speaking about why she applied to the show, Feyisola, a financial investigator from London, said she is “obsessed with game shows”.

On what she will bring to the house, Feyisola said: “I will be cooking, for sure. I’ve got a lot of chaotic energy, it’s who I am. And I think I’m really good at tasks and quizzes and that sort of thing. So hopefully I’ll be like the task master extraordinaire.”

Cameron B from Bolton works as a personal trainer and said he has been watching the show since he “was about ten years old”. He said the main thing he will bring to the house is “energy” with “a little bit of annoyance”.

On what he is looking forward to most as a housemate, he said: “I’d say the whole experience or the competition aspect – I love competition. But I think I’ll just love being secluded, no phone, no contact with the outside world. I feel like it’s pretty interesting – a once in a lifetime thing.”

Richard, a 60-year-old composer and author from London, said he applied for the reality show after making a “spur-of-the-moment decision”. Asked what he would bring to the Big Brother house, he said: “I would like to say humour, but people don’t always find my dad jokes all that funny.”

Parish councillor George from Braintree said: “I applied to meet people from different walks of life and to get the opportunity to chew the fat with them. I think you’ve got to try new things, and Big Brother looks like a laugh.”

On entering the house, George said he is looking forward to meeting his fellow contestants, adding: “You don’t know who you’re spending the next potentially seven weeks with. If you’re in there with a load of boring people, then it’s going to be a dull seven weeks – that is a real make or break of the experience.”
