The gym, which held a soft opening in early October, occupies an updated Shops at Bethlehem space that was previously home to a Maxx Fitness location, which closed last year.
The 25,000-square-foot space has been re-imagined with intentional strength and cardio training equipment, a dedicated personal-training area, Zumba studio, on-site childcare and a newly designated Community Room that supports mentorship programs, wellness classes and neighborhood partnerships.
“We’re happy to introduce our latest accomplishment to the community and those who helped bring this project to fruition,” founder Thamar Hewsen said. “The ribbon-cutting ceremony for Asylum Fitness marks the launch of a new era in Bethlehem Township.”
Asylum Fitness features all new gym equipment, including top-of-the-line treadmills and strength machines, along with free weights and functional training equipment.
