Doctor Who‘s Peter Davison is reprising his iconic role as the Fifth Doctor for a new Dalek adventure. Destination: Daleks will see the beloved Time Lord reunited with his quippy companion Tegan Jovanka (Janet Fielding) as they return to Butler’s Wharf in London.
Die-hard fans will know that the duo previously visited the location in 1984, during ‘Resurrection of the Daleks’. The episode ended with Tegan bidding an emotional farewell to the Doctor, concluding her time as a regular companion.
In the upcoming adventure, the Doctor and Tegan discover a surprise message from their old friend Vislor Turlough (Mark Strickson), who was last seen in 1984 before he decided to return to his home planet Trion.
The message reveals that Trion has been invaded by a violent enemy, with a desperate Turlough begging the Doctor for help.
As the pair discuss who the mystery aggressor could be, the Daleks reveal themselves – right on cue.
