I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! star Aitch has admitted that he, along with a fellow campmate, broke a rule prior to their arrival in the jungle. It didn’t seem to affect him during the series, however, as he went punishment-free.
The rapper took part in the 25th season of the long-running ITV reality series, with the star narrowly missing out on a coveted place in the grand finale after finishing in fourth place overall.
Following the conclusion of his near three-week stint in the jungle, Aitch spoke to The Mirror about his experience on the series, and revealed that he, along with AngryGinge, broke a rule before beginning their journey.
Typically, ITV doesn’t allow contestants to converse with each other before the series begins, though Aitch admitted that he and Ginge managed to circumvent this rule after discovering they were both taking part.
“We spoke a couple days beforehand saying: ‘Are you ready for this? Yeah, let’s go. Let’s go,'” he recalled. “I said: ‘Right, if you don’t win, I need to win, and if I don’t win, you need to win. Either way, we need to take this crown back to Manchester somehow.'”

Aitch certainly got his wish, with Ginge being crowned King of the Jungle after beating Tom Read-Wilson and Shona McGarty in the grand final and coming out on top in the public vote.
“It was a lot harder [than my expectations],” said Ginge following his triumph. “Do you know what made it worse? The fact I’d reached out to people who’d been on here and to get some clues and nobody warned me what we’re about to go through.
“No one said it was going to be that hard. But I’m so happy I’ve done it though,” he continued, while Tom shared: “I think historically I have a tendency to be a little bit introspective at times and that’s not very good for me.

“I think what you have to be in the jungle is with an outward lens because of the people but also because of the nature because everything that you look at is majestic and everything that you hear is majestic.”
Former EastEnders star Shona also reflected on her journey, saying: “I came in here shaking like a shitting dog and my anxiety has been up and down for as long as I can remember… I’ve learnt a lot about myself and I feel like it’s been a bit of a healing process.”
I’m a Celebrity… airs on ITV1 and ITVX.
