The Traitors is back for a fourth official season following last year’s triumphant celebrity run. 22 ordinary (and not so ordinary) members of the public have arrived in the castle, and after two intense episodes, the game is well and truly underway.

In a superb new twist, there are four Traitors – but only three know of each other (Hugo, Rachel and Stephen). The fourth is a secret Traitor, their identity unknown even to the viewers. Which is, obviously, the best thing ever.

We can barely contain ourselves and we need the next episode immediately, if not before. So when’s it on next? Listen up, because the third episode will air on a slightly different day and time. Allow us to reveal all…

How many episodes of The Traitors are there in Season 4?

There are 12 episodes in total spread across four weeks.

Who’s going to win?

Of course, it’s too early to say, but we have our opinions based on gameplay so far and what we know about the contestants:

Stronger chance of winning:

Fiona – 10/1 – No one would think Fiona had the guile to be a Traitor. After a decent second episode, we think she’s safe for a few days, at least.

Jessie – 10/1 -Immediately she won hearts on the train journey, and there’s currently no obvious heat on her. Whether that helps or hinders her long-term remains to be seen, but she should be fine for now.

Rachel – 10/1 – If any of the current Traitors survive, it’ll be Rachel. Clearly, she knows how to be a good Traitor.

Faraaz – 14/1 – Likeable, not too assertive. A smart strategy.

Stephen – 14/1 – Initially he seemed to have too much heart to be a classic Traitor. But does his delight in executing the first elimination make him a dark horse? Maybe he’s worth keeping an eye on.

Ben – 14/1 – He’s flying so far under the radar he’s almost invisible.

Ellie – 14/1 – Another dark horse. That’s how to play it in the early game.

Roxy – 14/1 – Hopefully she can do a better job of avenging her parent than Ross did a few years ago. One to watch.

Maz – 18/1 – Seems like a nice chap, and doesn’t come across as an Alpha. He who stays low-key survives. But why does the Secret Traitor seem to want him gone?

Reece – 20/1 – Needs to keep his strategy to himself, because having a strategy is an instant no-no.

Jack – 25/1 – If he can keep from leading any investigations he may do well.

Good chance of being murdered/banished:

James – 30-/1 – He needs to stop throwing out names with such wild abandon.

Matthew – 30/1 – Describes himself as “really competitive”. That won’t help.

Jade – 40/1 – Now Amanda has thrown some major suspicion on her, will that set her back?

Adam – 40/1 – He’s perhaps got too strong an opinion of his own abilities. Some early Round Table heat tonight isn’t a promising sign.

Ross – 50/1 – It really hasn’t helped him that he turned out to have already met another contestant – who swiftly departed. How long can he survive banishment with this much heat on him?

Amanda – 50/1 – She could play an excellent game – but we fear she’ll be murdered or banished before long.

Harriet – 50/1 – Another barrister! People just don’t tend to trust or like barristers, what can we say?

Sam – 80/1 – He certainly seems able to keep his cool, and he’s a fearless player. But being loud and wrong over Judy won’t have done him any favours.

Hugo – 100/1 – They’ll kick him out very quickly. A ‘psychopathic teddy bear’ is the wrong thing to be here. We reckon he’ll be the first Traitor to get caught.
