Meanwhile, as David and Shona coo over Harper, suddenly an alarm sounds. The doctor breaks the news to David and Shona that Harper needs a blood transfusion. David and Shona cling to each other, petrified for their daughter.
Elsewhere, as Ronnie enters the café, he overhears Mary and Asha discussing the crash. Ronnie tells them how sorry Debbie is for everything and hurries back out, clearly upset.
Also today, as the ambulance pulls up at the undertakers to deliver Billy’s body, Summer breaks down in tears and Todd does his best to comfort her. On the street, Summer’s incensed to see Debbie enjoying a laugh with Ronnie.
Finally, Eva suggests Leanne should sell her share of Speed Daal and buy Maggie’s slice of The Rovers instead.
