Hollyoaks spoilers follow for the latest episode to air on E4 and stream on Channel’s 4 service.
Hollyoaks has aired the dramatic outcome of Lucas Hay’s latest plan, as he decided to confront his dad Ste for a “farewell chat”. The tearaway teen has been abusing his dad and manipulating people around him for months — and it all came to a head tonight.
The latest episode saw Lucas locking the door to the house while Ste tried to calm down the situation by offering to make some tea and having a chat.
Out in the village, Rex Gallagher and Dillon Ray bumped into Leela Lomax and said they needed to find Lucas and Ste right away. They had seen Lucas’ notepad and were worried that Ste’s life was in danger.
Unable to pick up his phone, Ste continued to try and stall for time by reminiscing about what Lucas was like as a kid. But Lucas only wanted to know about Ste’s affair with Dillon and Ste tearfully admitted what happened.

Although Ste tried to keep the situation from from going overboard, Lucas threatened to pull a knife on him, just as Rex and the others turned up and demanded to be let in.
Rex kicked the door down, demanding Lucas lets Ste go. But the youngster grabbed Ste in a headlock.
Lucas then demanded all the details of Dillon and Ste’s affair from his ex. He took the opportunity to ridicule Ste for being “a slag”, “riddled”, “trash” and “a racist junkie” who is “addicted to destroy people who care about you”. He said that killing Ste would make everything better.

But before he could plunge the knife in, armed police and tackled Lucas to the ground. With Lucas arrested once again, everyone was left reeling from the day’s events.
Leela blamed Rex for what happened because he gave him a place to stay after she kicked him out. “Ste needs his family, you go back to yours,” she sneered.
Back at the Black family flat though, Rex sobbed as he looked through a suitcase of mum Grace’s belongings. Has he really lost everyone?
Hollyoaks airs on Mondays-Wednesdays with its Channel 4 streaming premiere at 7am, then an E4 broadcast the same night at 7pm. Full episodes are also released on YouTube a week after their Channel 4 release.
