EastEnders spoilers follow for Tuesday’s episode (10 February), which is available to watch now on streaming service BBC iPlayer and hasn’t yet aired on TV.
EastEnders’ Ravi Gulati has made a major confession about his secret identity, after a brutal and violent encounter. Ravi is currently working as a police informant within a drugs operation, while Mark is trying to sniff out the mole in the same gang.
This week, Ravi was spooked when he was introduced to Mark as a new contact in the gang. But he had a bigger issue to deal with when his son Nugget suffered a seizure in the car.
As Priya phoned the emergency services in today’s episode, Linda gave her some valuable advice – and encouraged Ravi to call a taxi to take them to the hospital.
Nugget was taken for a CT scan, and Priya and Ravi were later told that their son had suffered an epileptic seizure, likely caused by his recent head trauma from when he was attacked.

Ravi was overwhelmed with guilt that he could be responsible, and he walked out of the hospital, heading to Harry’s Barn to drown his sorrows.
He noticed Chelsea being harassed by a group of men in the bar so jumped to her defence, while Mark also squared up to them.
Outside, the men were waiting for Mark and began attacking him, but Ravi heroically intervened and scared the group away. Mark noticed some scars on Ravi’s chest and questioned how he got them – unaware that Ravi’s injuries were self-inflicted.

Mark was appreciative that Ravi had put himself in danger for him, so chose to confide in him that he is looking for a rat in the gang. Mark then phoned his colleagues and promised that Ravi was loyal, so it seems Ravi has done enough to avoid suspicion.
But Ravi was still full of self-loathing, so when the group of men later approached him again, he allowed them to brutally attack him on the Square.
Ravi headed back to the hospital battered and bruised, and lied to his worried family, telling them he had found the man who attacked Nugget and got revenge.

Priya knew this couldn’t be true, so she privately confronted Ravi and demanded that he tells her the truth about what he is caught up in – otherwise he would lose her and the kids for good.
“I’m a grass, alright?” Ravi admitted. “There, I said it. I’m an informant. I’m working for the police. And if you tell anyone, all of us, our whole family will be dead.”
How will Priya respond to this huge bombshell?
EastEnders airs on Mondays – Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer, where most episodes drop early at 6am ahead of their TV broadcast.
