Emmerdale spoilers follow.
Emmerdale has shared a worrying development for Bear Wolf, amid the investigation for the murder of Ray Walters. Bear is determined to take the fall for the crime, but how will he hold up in the intense police interview?
Viewers know that Bear did, in fact, kill Ray earlier this year when he saw the villain attacking his son, Paddy Dingle, and Dylan Penders. The trio then covered up the crime, but Bear decided to take sole responsibility, telling the police he acted in self-defence.

However, DS Walsh quickly spotted holes in his confession and realised she wasn’t getting the full story. Tomorrow night’s episode will see Bear claim he deliberately killed Ray, in a bid to protect his accomplices from police scrutiny.
In a newly released spoiler clip, which can be viewed below, Bear faces yet another grilling from Walsh after recently breaking his bail conditions. His lawyer argues that his mental health was the reason for his hospital escape.
The detective, however, is far more interested in rehashing the events leading up to Ray’s death. She asks Bear to “fill in some gaps”, while also calling into question his original statement.
“I’m still not clear what you were talking about if you say you were alone,” she says. “Now that you’ve had some time away to get things clearer, was your son Paddy there? Did he help you kill Ray Walters and put his body in the van?”
Despite Bear’s insistence that he acted alone, Walsh points out that Paddy’s alibi isn’t solid enough to remove suspicion. The interview is then suspended as another officer enters the room with new evidence; could the information implicate Paddy and Dylan?

Meanwhile, on Tuesday, Paddy decides to take accountability for the cover-up when he learns that Bear is facing a life sentence. Dylan also confesses his involvement, and the pair are charged with perverting the course of justice.
The Dingles try to prove that Ray was going to kill Paddy and Dylan, had Bear not intervened. With Laurel Thomas fully aware of her ex’s villainous ways, will she be able to help them avoid a prison stretch?
Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 8pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX.
