Hollyoaks spoilers follow for Monday’s episode (13 April), which is available to watch now on streaming service Channel 4 and hasn’t yet aired on TV.
Six Hollyoaks characters have been involved in a terrifying car crash, as the soap airs a huge stunt that will have life-changing consequences. With Frankie Osborne leaving for dance school, a new family make their first appearance in the show – but everything changes when their vehicles collide…
In today’s episode, as Frankie was gifted a pair of new ballet shoes from Darren and Nancy ahead of her village exit, the Keane family – Beth, Jonah and Caleb – prepared to move to Hollyoaks and surprise some family of Beth’s.

The community gathered for Frankie’s leaving party at The Loft, and Darren gave an emotional speech for his daughter as she got ready to start a new life in London.
Outside, Frankie shared a poignant moment with her brother Charlie, and he and Vicky confirmed that they were exploring a new romance. Frankie was happy for them, and the trio headed back to the club for once last dance together.
Frankie said goodbye to her loved ones and the village, with Charlie driving her to the train station and Vicky tagging along in the back of the car. But after the teens had left, Nancy realised that Frankie had left her ballet shoes behind.
Tony, Jack and Leela decided to drive to the station to give Frankie her shoes, but meanwhile, Frankie also realised her mistake and begged Charlie to turn the car around and head back to the village.
Charlie picked up speed, in order to collect to the shoes and get Frankie to the station in time – and Frankie and Vicky encouraged him to go faster, getting progressively drunk themselves.

The teens got stuck behind the Keanes in the moving van and Charlie kept impatiently trying to overtake, with Frankie beeping the horn to get their attention.
As Caleb took off his seatbelt to get his phone charger, Charlie made a bold move to overtake, but he clipped the van and the Keanes crashed into some construction equipment – with Caleb sent flying through the windscreen.
Meanwhile, Charlie’s car was also sent off the road and flew through the air, flipping over and landing in a woodland area.
All six characters have clearly been injured, but will everyone survive this horror crash?
