With television series such as The Last of Us and Game of Thrones under their belt, Bella Ramsey is having a change of pace in the very near future as they take part in the second season of The Celebrity Traitors.
The actor is part of the 21-strong cast for the highly-anticipated season, which is due to premiere on the BBC later this year. Claudia Winkleman is returning as host, with the Scottish Highlands providing the perfect backdrop for another game of deception.
It remains to be seen how Ramsey will fare during the reality series, with the actor telling The Guardian that they were inspired to take part due to their love of party game Mafia. Despite this, they did confess to being “naive” during filming for the series.

“I started playing it [Mafia] in the Television Workshop, so I’ve been playing it since I was 11,” they shared. “I love it so much. I’ve done Mafia nights at my flat. So fun. In my head, it was just, like, ‘I’m going to go to this castle and play this game for two weeks.'”
“Yeah. So I’m, like, ‘you just go and you do that [The Celebrity Traitors]’. But I’m too naive. I should know, after doing this for so many years, that what you see on screen isn’t actually what it is.”
Ramsey, who has also appeared in Catherine Called Birdy and Becoming Elizabeth, also quipped that they might try to “be out of the country” by the time that The Celebrity Traitors airs, mainly due to the increased exposure that will come with it.
The actor is part of a stacked line-up for the season, with Amol Rajan, James Acaster, James Blunt, Jerry Hall, Joanne McNally, Joe Lycett, Julie Hesmondhalgh, King Kenny, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Maya Jama confirmed.

The star-studded cast is rounded out by Michael Sheen, Miranda Hart, Myha’la, Professor Hannah Fry, Richard E Grant, Rob Beckett, Romesh Ranganathan, Ross Kemp, Sebastian Croft and Sharon Rooney.
Ramsey has some other upcoming projects, with the actor set to star alongside Daisy Haggard in Channel 4 thriller series Maya. They will also have a lead role on the big screen, with coming-of-age drama Sunny Dancer set to be released later this month.
The Celebrity Traitors airs on BBC One and streams on BBC iPlayer.
